LG Preparing to Reveal Largest Retail OLED TV Next Month

LG is going to reveal the largest retail OLED TV in the next month. Though it is high prices and size constraints are the current Achilles Heel of the OLED TV market, but nevertheless LG will reveal the largest retail version yet next month for an undisclosed price.

The 15-incher will officially debut at the IFA 2009 show in Berlin, LG after which it will sell first in Korea before making its way overseas sometime after November.

And better still, at least for OLED fans, is word that LG is also preparing a 40-inch OLED product in the not so distant future.

BlackBerry 8520 Now Available in UK With Vodafone

BlackBerry 8520 is now available in the UK with Vodafone. BlackBerry 8520 is a reliable and attractive mobile gadget that can be found at competitve price in the UK market in cluding other markets in the World. The new 3G-less BlackBerry has just made its appearance on the Vodafone UK webpage so guessing stops here.BlackBerry 8520The Vodafone UK online shop lists the BlackBerry 8520 as free on select Pay Monthly plans (starting from 25GBP) if you sign an 18 or 24-month contract.

The new BlackBerry 8520 surely doesn't have 3G/HSDPA functionality, but it's got Wi-Fi connectivity to compensate for that. The 2.6-inch display and the sleek design are also attractive.

BlackBerry should have gone with a better camera we guess, as the 8520 has a 2 megapixel snapper only.

Another unusual thing about the BlackBerry 8520 is the optical trackpad that's used for navigation around the interface instead of a trackball.

BlackBerry Curve 8520 is the first RIM device that will be able to sync to your iTunes multimedia content and playlists. The release of the new version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager in September will enable that kind of functionality for the rest of the company's product line.

There’s no doubting that Nokia’s N86 8MP is one of Nokia's hottest handsets this year. The N86’s camera comes with the aforementioned 8MP, alongside Carl Zeiss optics and a duel LED flash. The later caused disappointment among tech spec fiends when the N86 8MP was first outed, with punters complaining about the lack of a Xenon flash. While it is a miss, it does also mean that you can grab the N86 cheaper than most other 8MP phones and it holds up to a daily pounding better than a proper bulb. Plus it works just dandy in daylight, with our shots coming out crisp and clear.
